Rocket Age — Child Safety Standards

Effective: 2026-08-23 · Operator: Motto Motto · Contact: jflessard@mottomotto.ca

Rocket Age is an adults-only dating and social app operated by Motto Motto. We do not permit anyone under the age of 18 to create an account or use the service. This page describes the standards and practices we apply to prevent child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) on Rocket Age, in accordance with Google Play’s Child Safety Standards Policy and applicable law.

1. Age gating at signup

  • Every user is required to provide their date of birth or age at signup. Accounts computed as under 18 are refused and cannot proceed through onboarding.
  • The 18+ minimum is enforced on every entry path into the app, including the fast-lane onboarding used for in-person events.
  • Any account subsequently identified as belonging to a minor — whether by user report, self-disclosure, or our own review — is deleted along with its content.

2. Zero-tolerance policy for CSAE and CSAM

  • Any content, communication, or behavior that sexually exploits or endangers a minor is strictly prohibited on Rocket Age. This includes child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming behavior, and requests for or exchanges of such material.
  • Violations result in immediate and permanent account termination and, where legally required, reporting to the appropriate authorities.

3. In-app reporting mechanisms

Every user profile and chat header in Rocket Age exposes a Report / Block control. The Report flow includes an explicit « Underage or minor » reason so that any user can flag a suspected minor with a single tap. Reports are routed to the operator for review.

  • Reports of suspected minors are treated as the highest-priority triage category and reviewed promptly.
  • Reported accounts are restricted from further interaction while under review.
  • Blocking a user simultaneously terminates all in-app communication paths between the reporter and the reported user.

4. Cooperation with authorities

  • We comply with applicable child safety laws in Canada, the United States, and other jurisdictions where Rocket Age is available.
  • Confirmed CSAM identified on our platform is reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) via the CyberTipline and to Canadian authorities as required.
  • We respond in good faith to lawful requests from law enforcement concerning the safety of minors.

5. Photo and content review

  • All profile photos uploaded to Rocket Age are subject to review upon report or when flagged by our internal moderation processes.
  • Users cannot exchange images or media inside the app outside of profile photos; this narrows the surface for illicit content transfer.
  • We continue to evaluate and adopt automated safety tooling (including hash-matching services such as PhotoDNA) as our scale and resources warrant, and welcome inbound suggestions from safety experts.

6. Contact and reporting channel

Anyone — user, parent, guardian, safety researcher, or law enforcement officer — may contact us regarding a child safety concern. We aim to acknowledge every such report within 72 hours.

Where suspected criminal conduct is described, we encourage reporters to contact local law enforcement in addition to us. In the United States, reports may also be submitted directly to NCMEC’s CyberTipline at report.cybertip.org.

7. Standards maintenance

These standards are reviewed at least annually and revised as our product, scale, or applicable law changes. Material updates are dated at the top of this page.
